"Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: 'The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ, and He will reign forever and ever!'" - Revelation 11:15 (CSB)
Lord,
In a world that often feels chaotic and unclear, steady my heart. Help me not just to understand Your Word but to live it. Remind me, God, that You have been my fourth Man in the fire—more than enough—even when it didn’t make sense, You were there. Give me courage to be faithful, even when I don’t see the full picture.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

When life doesn't make sense, it's important to remember that God's ways are higher than ours. Trusting God during confusing, conflicting, and painful seasons can anchor us when life feels upside down.
Faith is a choice, not a feeling. It means choosing to trust God even when life doesn't seem to make sense. And, as we trust God when it doesn't make sense, He is good beyond what we can imagine. We must believe and know that faith in God changes everything. "Now faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is seen." - Hebrews 11:1 (CSB)
Revelation 11 shows us something most people struggle to accept:
God is working even when it looks like He isn’t.
The two witnesses, read about in Revelation chapter 11 preach truth boldly. They walk in power. They are clearly sent by God. And yet… they are rejected, attacked, and ultimately killed.
If we’re honest, that part bothered me.
Because I tend to believe: "If I’m doing God’s will, things should go smoothly.”
But this chapter tells a different story.
Faithfulness does not always look like success.
There will be moments where:
You do the right thing—and still face resistance
You speak truth—and people reject it
You walk with God—and life still gets heavy
The witnesses weren’t failing…They were finishing their assignment.
And here’s the turning point:
What looked like defeat…God turned into resurrection and victory.
Deeper Truth
Revelation 11 is teaching you this:
God measures what belongs to Him, you are not overlooked
God appoints your assignment, you are not random
God controls the timeline, you are not behind
God determines the outcome, you are not defeated
Let that settle in.
Because if we don’t get this, we’ll quit in the middle of something God never intended for us to walk away from.
Think about a time when you poured into someone—mentored them, loved them, prayed for them…and it felt like nothing changed. Maybe they even walked away. In that moment, it feels like loss. But what you don’t see is this:
Seeds don’t show up immediately.
The witnesses’ story reminds us: God is working beyond what your eyes can measure.
Your obedience is never wasted. It may just be waiting for God’s timing.
Questions to ponder:
Where in my life does obedience feel difficult right now?
Am I measuring success by results… or by faithfulness?
Is there something God called me to that I’ve grown weary in?
What would it look like to trust God with the outcome?
Here is the dare:
Choose one area where you will remain faithful even if you don’t see immediate results.
It might be:
Continuing to pray for someone
Staying committed to your calling
Speaking truth in love
Showing up when it’s inconvenient
Don’t overcomplicate it.
Just be faithful.

Father,
Thank You that You are always at work—even when I don’t understand. Strengthen me to remain faithful in every season. When things feel unclear, remind me that You are still in control. Help me to trust Your timing, Your plan, and Your purpose.
And when it feels like I’m losing…remind me that in You, victory is already secured.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
