“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”— 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NKJV)

Teach us what it means to walk not by what we see, but by what we know of You. Strengthen our trust in Your promises even when the path ahead is unclear. Help us to move in obedience so that our lives might confirm Your Word and bring glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
When God speaks, His Word already carries power — but it is through our faith-filled action that His Word is confirmed in the earth. Walking by faith isn’t merely about believing; it’s about moving in alignment with what God has said, even when our senses or circumstances haven’t caught up yet.
When God speaks, His Word already carries power — but it is through our faith-filled action that His Word is confirmed in the earth. Walking by faith isn’t merely about believing; it’s about moving in alignment with what God has said, even when our senses or circumstances haven’t caught up yet.
Every time you take a step forward in obedience, you give visible form to the invisible truth of God’s promises. Your movement becomes the evidence that His Word is real, alive, and active.
Think of Abraham — he left his homeland not knowing where he was going, but every step he took was a confirmation that God’s promise was true. Think of Peter — when he stepped out of the boat, the water didn’t turn to stone beneath him until he began to walk. It wasn’t the conditions that confirmed the Word; it was the walk.
Faith in Action
“Walking by faith so we can confirm His Word” means living in such a way that our trust becomes testimony.
• When you give even when resources are limited, you confirm that God is your Provider.
• When you forgive when it’s hard, you confirm His grace and mercy.
• When you keep believing when hope seems lost, you confirm that His Word never fails.
• When you serve without recognition, you confirm His example of humility.
🌿 A Personal Reflection: Walking by Faith So We Can Confirm His Word
There came a moment in my life when faith demanded more than words—it required movement. For years, I served with the United States Postal Inspection Service, the federal law enforcement arm of the U.S. Postal Service, operating much like the FBI in its mission to protect the integrity of the mail and those who handle it. It was a respected and stable career—one that offered security, benefits, and a clear path forward.
But even in the midst of success, God began stirring something deeper in my heart. I sensed Him calling me to step away from the badge, the title, and the familiarity of that world—to pursue something less certain in human terms, yet far more significant in eternal value. It wasn’t an easy call to answer. Walking away from a federal law enforcement career meant stepping into the unknown.
As Star and I prayed, we came to realize that this was not just about leaving something behind—it was about stepping into what God had already prepared ahead. And in His perfect timing, the Lord opened another remarkable door. Star retired as a Postmaster after more than 30 years of faithful service, closing her own chapter with honor and grace. It was as if God was writing a new script for both of us—saying, “Now that you’ve served faithfully in the system, it’s time to serve faithfully in My Kingdom.”
Together, we began to walk by faith into the vision God placed before us: to train, equip, and mobilize believers for missions through what would become Sowing Seeds of Joy. What started as a step into uncertainty became a journey of divine confirmation. God provided every resource, every opportunity, and every open door to remind us that when we obey Him, He confirms His Word through our lives.
Looking back, we can see His fingerprints everywhere. Every moment of hesitation was met with His peace. Every leap of faith was met with His provision. And every act of obedience—no matter how small—became another testimony that God’s Word is true: “The Lord worked with them and confirmed His Word by the signs that accompanied it.” (Mark 16:20)
When you walk by faith, God doesn’t just meet you on the path—He multiplies your steps, turns your story into His testimony, and uses your obedience to confirm His promises in the lives of others.
Faith without works is dead (James 2:17), but faith with movement breathes life into the promises of God. Our obedience becomes a living signature verifying that His Word is not void but victorious.
Where is God asking you to take a step today — not by sight, but by faith? Is there a promise you’ve been waiting to see confirmed? The truth is, you may be the one called to walk it out so others can witness it.
When we walk by faith, we don’t make God’s Word true — it already is. But through our obedience, we confirm it in real time, in real places, for real people to see.
Know that, when we walk by faith, we don’t make God’s Word true — it already is. But through our obedience, we confirm it in real time, in real places, for real people to see.
Lord, Thank You for reminding us that every step of faith confirms Your faithfulness. Help us to trust You in the unseen, to act when You speak, and to live as living witnesses that Your Word is true. May our faith walk bring others to see You more clearly and believe You more deeply. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
