“The blessing of the Lord makes one rich, and He adds no sorrow with it.” – Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)
Have you ever found yourself in a season where it seemed like everyone else was being blessed—new jobs, healing testimonies, open doors—yet your situation remained the same? In these moments, it’s easy to feel overlooked or forgotten. But let this truth settle in your spirit today: God’s got a blessing with your name on it.

Our God is not generic or random with His favor. He is intentional, personal, and precise. The delays you’ve experienced aren’t denials. They’re divine pauses—moments God uses to prepare you for the very thing He’s preparing for you. What God has for you will never be given to someone else. His promises are tailor-made, wrapped in purpose, and sealed by grace.
Like Joseph, you may be in a pit or prison now, but the palace is still in your future. Like Hannah, you may feel barren in some area of your life, but your Samuel—your answered prayer—is coming. Like the woman with the issue of blood, you may feel drained, isolated, and desperate—but your healing is just one touch away.
So don’t let discouragement rob you of hope. Keep serving. Keep trusting. Keep praising. The blessing is already on the way. You haven’t been forgotten—only being made ready.
Reflection:
In what area of your life do you feel like you're still waiting on a blessing?
How can you keep your heart and hands ready while you wait?
Can you recall a time when you received a blessing that came right on time?
Lord, thank You for knowing me by name and loving me enough to prepare me for every blessing You have in store. Help me to trust Your timing, even when I don’t understand the waiting. Strengthen my faith in the quiet seasons and remind me that You are still working behind the scenes. I receive by faith the truth that You’ve got a blessing with my name on it. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
