Haiti is a Caribbean country that shares the island of Hispaniola with the Dominican Republic to its east. Though it’s still recovering from earthquakes and hurricanes, many of Haiti's landmarks dating to the early 19th century remain intact. These include Citadelle LaFerrière, a mountaintop fortress, and the nearby ruins of Sans-Souci Palace, the baroque former royal home of King Henry I.  Sowing Seeds of Joy in partnership with Bear Creek Community Church, Irving, TX, collaborates with Hosean International Ministries (HIM), a ministry by Haitians, for Haitians. 

Pastor Caleb Lucien, its founder, has

one purpose in mind: to transform

lives by pointing people to Jesus Christ

through education, life skills training,

and economic growth. A mission trip to

on a local church plant. God is at work and

Short Term Mission Trip to Haiti in partnership with Bear Creek Community Church, Irving, TX in collaboration with Hosean International Ministries

 

The ministry HIM has been able to bring help and hope to thousands of Haitians through camps, trainings, conferences as well as building projects just to name a few.  SSOJ and BCCC will join HIM for one week, but the effects of showing Christ’s love lasts long after the team leaves.
