About the UK:
The United Kingdom (UK) is a sovereign nation made up of four countries: England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. Known for its rich history, diverse population, and global influence, the UK has long been a center for politics, education, the arts, and Christianity. From historic castles and iconic landmarks like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace, to vibrant urban hubs like London, Liverpool, and Edinburgh, the UK offers a blend of tradition and modernity.
Culturally, the UK is a melting pot of customs and languages shaped by centuries of global connections. It values politeness, punctuality, and a “keep calm and carry on” mindset. Tea is more than a drink—it’s a cultural ritual. Music, theatre, literature, and football (soccer) are deeply embedded in British life. The UK also has a growing multicultural community, with people from around the world contributing to its vibrant social fabric.
As you prepare to visit, come with an open heart and mind—ready to learn, serve, and build meaningful relationships across cultures. Whether engaging in ministry, sharing meals, or touring historic sites, you'll witness firsthand how God's presence moves in unique and powerful ways across the nations.
Experience the UK
As a member of a mission-minded team, you'll explore the legacy and future of global leadership, experience life in one of the world’s most influential nations, and return home inspired to lead, serve, and impact your world.
